It was Monday Night Raw on April 26,2010. Tonight was the 3 Hour Draft between Raw and Smackdown. The crowd was going wild while the theme song for the show played throughout the arena People waved signs back and forth, screaming at the top of their lungs. One of the announcers, Micheal Cole, said, " Welcome to Monday Night Raw, everyone. Tonight is the day you have all been waiting for. It's the 3 Hour Draft. Can you believe that, Shawn?" Shawn says, "Hey it has come so quickly and I just want to see who is coming and leaving Raw." A theme song starts playing and immediately the crowd goes crazy again.
"Coming from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing at 245 lbs, he is the Legend Killer. Randy Orton!!!" When he came out, he face looked so serious and deadly. Randy Orton walked with the beat of the music, doing it slowly and steadily. Once he stepped inside the ring, he climbed onto one of the ring posts that connected the ropes. He just stood there looking out at the crowd. Everytime he did this, he always looked ready to fight and never ever smiled.
After hopping off, the post, another song starts playing. Batista, the man everyone hated, came walking out as a bright white spotlight shined on him. The crowd gradually went from cheering to booing. One of the cameramen focused it on Randy s he just stood in there in silence. We know he was ready to kick his butt.
Once Batista got into the ring, the lights turned back on and someone rung the bell, signifying that the match began. Batista and Orton started walking around the ring, trying to find an open spot to attack. Orton charges first. He punches and kicks him in the gut with all his might. Soon Batista shoves him into the corner of the ring and the referee begins to count to four. He knew that if he didn't back away from Orton he would be disqualified.
Suddenly Orton, also known as the Legend Killer, knocks his opponent to the floor with the Clothesline. Everytime he got back up Orton would come running with another. “I am curious about what will happen at the end of this match,” Micheal says. “They have been rivals for about a month along with John Cena.” Then when Orton came towards him again, he pounces up and kicks Batista in the chest with the Standing Drop Kick. The crowd goes wild, chanting Randy`s name over and over.
"Well, the crowd is giving Randy Orton some motivation," Shawn says quite happily. "Last week on RAW, John Cena was fighting Batista when Randy Orton came in and started beating the crap out of Batista. Unfortunately, neither of them won that match. However, Cena helped beat down Batista. That's the first time in a long time we've seen them team up for something like this." Back in the ring, Randy Orton was in control of the match so far. All of a sudden, Batista ran at his abdomen and hit him with the Spear. "He goes for a cover, but Orton kicks out at two."
When the show came back on, Orton had Batista in the Bodyscissors, the move that causes that person to have trouble breathing. So, Batista stood up, and out the Powerbomb on his opponent. Orton cringes at the pain in his spine, curving his back like an archway.
Batista pushes him to one of the corners and spears him continuously until the referee tells him to stop. He backs up slowly from Orton to the diagonal corner. Then, Batista runs ata him and then, without warning, Randy Orton does the European Uppercut. "Oooo...that's gotta hurt, especially the way he ran at him!"
Randy Orton took Batista's legs and switched him over to his stomach, applying pressure to Batista's knees. This was a submission move that all superstars did just to win the match. Unfortunately, Batista got out of it by touching one of the ropes. Randy Orton had to let go. Immediately, he starts pounding on Batista's torso as if he was gettin g revenge for something he didn't do.
All of a sudden, John Cena appeared and Batista and Orton got distracted. But Cena wasn't here to make anyone lose. He just wanted to see who would win. Or was he here to disqualify someone? The match continued. Then, Batista hit him hard in the face, causing him to stagger back and fall to the floor. Batista stood in the corner with his right hand on the top rope, ready to hit him with another Spear. But, as he came Randy Orton knocks him out. Batista collapses to the mat with a thud. Everyone knew it was time for the moment. "I think Orton's ready to RKO someone." Orton starts moving crazy-like , balled up his hands into fists, and got down into a push up position, his waist going up and down. He looked deadly at Batista's body. Gradually, Batista rises to his feet and Orton does the same. With a blink of the eye, Randy puts Batista's head on his shoulder and collapses flat to the floor with him.
"Randy Orton has done it. He RKO'd Batista!" In no more than five seconds, Orton pulls his opponent over and pins him! The crowd goes wild with excitement, screaming Randy's name over and over again. Just as someone rings the bell for the end of the match, Cena jumps out of the chair and slides into the ring. Orton thought he was going for him, but he wasn't. He went straight for Batista. Cena took his right leg, put it between his legs, and locks in the STFU. The referee tries to desperately to make him let go but it failed. Randy Orton stood in amazement as Batista started to fainted quickly. Cena finally lets go.
Out of nowhere, Randy Orton does TWO RKO's on Batista. They were both really ticked off with The Animal. One of the employers gave Randy a microphone and, after taking a breath, he speaks into the microphone. "For everyone who thinks Batista is the best, you are all wrong. The Legend Killer and The Prototype are the best wrestlers you will ever see in your lifetime. Well, besides Bret "The Hitman" Hart. So, Batista, if I were you, I would leave this ring right now and never mess with me or John Cena again! And if you don't take that seriously, then we'll whoop your tail when you come back." After speaking, Cena took the mic and says, "And not only will we be the ones beating you up, but the whole entire raw roster and the Undertaker. So, watch your back Batista before we beat you up so bad that you have to end your career." With that, he dropped the mic and stuck his left hand out to Randy. At first randy hesitated and very soon he took the large hand and shook it. But never had a smile and neither did Cena. Together they climbed out of the ring and walked slowly backwards up the ramp, Cena grinning and Orton with a smirk on his face.
"Well, I'm shocked at the fact that Cena and Orton are teaming up with the RAW roster to kick Batista's butt," Micheal says. "And if they team up for a tag team or handicap match, it may become brutal. We'll be right back on Monday Night Raw."
